The sea seemed to melt into the land today – the choppy waves reflected the colours of the grasses and rock, as bits of wood bobbed about on the surface.
The world was pink this day. While my artist’s eye sees the pink as somewhat unusual and unique, the knowing part of me thinks about the forest fires that are increasing with climate change. Yes, I can see the beauty – and I must also be mindful of my impact on the world.
It was a perfect time with the Al Frescoes at Beaver Lake Ponds – just a few days before the summer equinox.
