It was chilly out as the Al Frescoes painted at Swan Lake and although I imagined that the coots swimming nearby could be cold I’m sure that it was I who was freezing! 14×16 Pastel on Pastelmat

This painting was created at the Insight Festival at Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse NHS at part of the plein air painting competition. It was a beautiful day with a hazy summer sky.
