These lupins were thriving in spite of the heat on Dallas Road.
The month of June brought record high temperatures to Victoria, BC. Today many of us clustered under the trees as we painted the sun-drenched landscape.
I sought refuge next to the rocks near Rainbow Park – it was a very windy day!
It was a beautiful May day when the Al Frescoes visited Island View Beach. These three kayakers glid by as I was painting.
The rhododendrons were at their peak with just a few starting to fall. As I sat and painted people walked through Finnerty Gardens and trod upon the fallen blossoms. This is what it means to be a painter – one tries to capture a moment of beauty!
