Waiting for Friends

It was a gorgeous, chilly day in late December at Willows Beach when I painted this. After awhile, two women came and sat in the chairs, and they talked together. I had a

Froggy

I painted beside a relaxing pond towards the end of summer. This little frog sat still for the longest time. I like to think she was preparing for the long sleep ahead.

Salty Air

This painting was created at the Insight Festival at Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse NHS at part of the plein air painting competition. It was a beautiful day with a hazy summer sky.

Canada Day in Langford BC

It was a wonderful day at Langford for their first annual celebration of Canada Day! I had the chance to paint lots of people and interact with them too – especially kids who wanted to be put in the painting.
