It was a perfect time with the Al Frescoes at Beaver Lake Ponds – just a few days before the summer equinox.
I sought refuge next to the rocks near Rainbow Park – it was a very windy day!
The rhododendrons were at their peak with just a few starting to fall. As I sat and painted people walked through Finnerty Gardens and trod upon the fallen blossoms. This is what it means to be a painter – one tries to capture a moment of beauty!
The camas flowers are dreamy in this charming landscape.
