This one felt just right! One of my painting friends came up to me and suggested it was time to stop! This is a problem for many artists and something to keep in mind when painting.

When we took a tour of the lovely Abkhazi Garden in the spring of 2022 our guide told us that this was the garden that love built. It is a beautiful spot to visit. Artists are welcome to come and paint there Monday-Thursday!

There were many people out walking their dogs at Finnerty Gardens on this day. It was extremely chilly, as you can see from the way these folks were bundled up!

Sometimes I have to sit for some time before inspiration strikes. This day was like that. It was cold and a little dull out. I was grumpy! I stayed with the feelings and let Mother Nature work her magic on me. After about a half hour I felt moved to paint this Oregon Grape in all her glory!
